This is a small but high-profile part in the Audi/VW community because of its tendency to cause "mystery" coolant leaks.
It serves as the direct bridge/connector between the Engine Oil Cooler and the Water Pump Module. It allows coolant to flow from the pump into the cooler to regulate engine oil temperatures.
It comes with two pre-installed rubber O-rings (one for each end).
Engine Fitment: Primarily the EA888 Gen 1 & Gen 2 (2.0T TSI/TFSI) engines.
